Bernwode Plants, one of the leading specialist nurseries in England, is situated in a tranquil position in rural Buckinghamshire. The nursery is surrounded by old grass meadows and is next to Rushbeds Wood, part of the ancient, royal hunting forest of Bernwode.
The nursery offers a very wide selection of rare, interesting and old-fashioned herbaceous perennials, herbs and shrubs. The range of unusual and traditional cottage garden plants, now also includes a large collection of old English apple trees, all grown in containers and available on different rootstocks.
Most of the plants are hardy, lime-tolerant and perennial, although we also have a range of tender perennials for containers and conservatories.
